Current Projects:
Our main focus this year is preventative maintenance on our key buildings. Click here to donate funds to support these great projects.
Wichita
With the interior of this beachfront building already updated, the exterior will receive much needed attention. New foundation piers, new porches, vinyl siding, and a renovated beachwall will complete this building.
New porches are being built now that the foundation has been repaired.

Purdy Center
Our key, year-round building will receive some much needed updates this year.

New vinyl siding on the rear of this building completed the exterior renovations. The damaged Social Hall flooring has been replaced.

The hot water system has received important upgrades [before]. After.

Public Bathroom Renovations
The current Purdy Center and Tibbitts Auditorium restrooms will be renovated to better serve our guests.

The Purdy Center restrooms have been renovated. The former men's and women's bathrooms have been renovated into one large men's bathroom (center photograph). The former men's and women's bathrooms in the indoor pool were converted into one large women's bathroom (first photograph). In addition, an ADA compliant and a unisex bathroom has been built (last photograph).

Conference Season
We have had an exciting conference season thus far and are looking forward to summer as it quickly approaches. We hosted our first-ever Father & Son retreat weekend October 2-4, 2009. Many fathers and sons enjoyed fellowship, fun and, of course, food. We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a second Father & Son retreat October 1-3, 2010 with former NBA-player Bay Forrest as our guest speaker. Be on the lookout for more information!
The winter season has certainly been a busy one. We completely sold out our New Year's Celebration as well as our President's Day weekend. Rex Keener along with David Sonju and Frank Turek, respectively, were our special guest speakers for those two weekends. The guests enjoyed a myriad of indoor and outdoor activities, great fellowship, impactful messages, and once again, delicious food!

If you would like more information on our Conference Season, click here. For more information on booking a retreat or conference, contact Steve Tamm, Vice President, Operations and Marketing, at 518-548-4311 ext. 247 or email him at stevet@camp-of-the-woods.org.
