The ministries of CAMP-of-the-WOODS are constantly growing and upgrading. With the prayerful and financial support of our Camp family every year we are able to complete many projects that help us serve better. 100% of the funding for these projects comes from donations of the Camp family. Look below at our list of projects to be completed for the upcoming Summer Season 2006!

PROJECTS TO BE COMPLETED FOR SUMMER SEASON 2006
NEW & RENOVATED ACCOMMODATIONS:

BEDDINGTONS: The Camp linen room will be moved to the rear of the Fieldhouse to open up valuable space.

NAVAJO TENTELS: Two of these tentels will be moved to the footprint of Beddingtons. They will be remodeled          with new roofs, exterior siding and luan covering the open studs on the interior.

NEW BEACHFRONT LONGHOUSE: Beautiful 6-unit one-room longhouse will replace current Iowa longhouse.
 
PROJECTS:
  • A new wheelchair elevator will be added to Tibbitts Auditorium that will help many people.
  • Replace many aging roofs in Camp.
  • Purchase new kitchen equipment for dining halls.
  • Improve water & sewage problems throughout Camp.
Each year gifting from Camp friends helps fund the Gospel Volunteers Ministries and Projects. This year $600,000 is needed in addition to Conference and Summer Season Revenues. Your investment in the GVI ministry is appreciated.
