Miss Angie Armstrong was born and raised in a small town called Fergus in Ontario, Canada. She obtained a degree in General Ministries from Tyndale University College and Seminary in Toronto. Throughout Miss Angie’s college days, she also worked in a group home with physical and mentally disabled adults. Before beginning her work at Camp Tapawingo, she was a counselor at a horse ranch for children ages 6 to 17 for five summers as well as head female counselor for one year. Miss Angie also completed the LIFT program in the winter of 2001 (for more information on the LIFT program please click here).
Miss Angie first heard about Camp Tapawingo in the summer of 2000. She accepted a position as summer staff and spent her first three summers as a counselor and her next two summers as the head counselor. Miss Kim Winters was the Director at that time, and Miss Angie had the privilege of learning from her during those summers. In the fall of 2004, the Lord led Miss Angie to accept the position as the Tapawingo Director.
