Hi! I’m Leanne Carter and I have been serving in Austria since 1984, and have been a Camp missionary for more than 25 years. I tell my friends here that I was born in Canada but was made for Austria. It’s home! My husband and I served together until the Lord called him Home in February 2011. His love for Jesus, his family, and training up young leaders to reach the lost continues to influence our lives and work here. Our three sons all grew up in Austria and are now living in three different countries.

My empty nest is filled with refugee workers and refugees. My ministry focus is all about helping to raise up the next generation of Titus 2 women in Austria. These are older, godly women who teach and love younger women. They model for them what everyday life looks like for a daughter of the King of Kings so that the glorious truth of the gospel will be seen and will draw people to Jesus.

My everyday life includes being a mom, friend, teacher of God’s Word, disciple-maker, leader developer, hostess, women’s ministry leader in my local church, volunteer for refugee work, and a YouTuber (videos and reels) where I share about how being a daughter of the King of Kings transforms our everyday lives.

In the USA I am associated with Discipling the Nations (d-t-n.org) and in Canada, I work through Action Canada (actioninternational.org).

Prayer Requests:

  • The good news of God’s love would reach both Austrian and refugee men, women, and children here.

  • I would continue to pass on to the women what I learn while working on my Master of Arts in Leadership and Discipleship. After my youngest left home, I chose to fill my evening mom time with studies that would help me grow and bless the local church. A healthy, loving, growing local church impacts their neighbors for Christ (Eph 4).
