Important Information, Policies & Rules:

WEEKLY RESERVATIONS

  • Check-in after 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Check-out by 9:00 a.m. the following Saturday morning.

  • Online reservations open on the Tuesday after the corresponding week

  • There are three ways to make your reservations: online, by phone (518) 548-4311, or in person at the Front Desk in the Purdy Center Lobby.

  • Reservations made prior to May 15, 2024, will be charged for a full week. No refunds for a shortened stay.

  • Confirmation will be emailed to you when your reservation is finalized, as applicable.

  • Two-week maximum stay at Camp.

  • DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE TO YOURSELF, OTHER PEOPLE, AND GROUPS.

PARTIAL WEEK RESERVATIONS: (2-night minimum)

  • Accepted by telephone for Weeks 8 and 9 of 2024, based on availability.

  • Check-in after 2:00 p.m. the day of arrival. Check-out 9:00 a.m. the day of departure.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

  • The 15% deposit taken at the time of booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. A second non-refundable and non-transferable 15% deposit will be taken on February 19th, 2024. Both reservation deposits are strictly non-transferable and cannot be applied to any other reservations, regardless of duplication. With this policy in mind, it is not advisable to make more reservations than you intend to use. Reservations must be paid in full 60 days prior to your arrival. If you’d like to change the dates or accommodation of an existing reservation, please call the Front Desk to make changes.

  • Deposits cannot be converted into an Associate Membership. Deposits can be transferred to new reservation dates if changed 1 month or more before the arrival date, and if held by the same member, but must be used in the same summer season.

  • Payment is due 60 days before arrival. When paying a deposit by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover) the balance due will be charged to that card 60 days prior to arrival. If full payment is not received 60 days prior to arrival, the reservation(s) will be canceled and deposit(s) forfeited.

  • We do not accept American Express

  • NO REFUND FOR LATE ARRIVAL OR EARLY DEPARTURE.

CANCELLATIONS

  • DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE TO YOURSELF, OTHER PEOPLE, AND GROUPS.

  • All cancellations must be made by telephone and confirmed by email, and approved by the Registrar.

  • If cancellation is made MORE THAN 60 days prior to arrival, Camp will refund the amount of the reservation MINUS the deposit.

  • If cancellation is made LESS THAN 60 days prior to arrival, the FULL AMOUNT IS FORFEITED. Reservations are non-transferable.

ACCOMMODATIONS

  • There must be at least one adult charge per accommodation. Occupants must be at least 18 years of age to reserve an accommodation.

  • Maximum Occupancy (including newborns) per accommodation must be adhered to at all times. Please call or visit this link for specific extra rates and maximum occupancy limits for each accommodation.

  • Couples must be married to request an accommodation together.

  • No subletting of accommodations is allowed. Accommodations must be occupied by the member registered.

  • In the case of “found damage” deemed intentional and/or through your negligence, Camp will notify you of damages along with applicable repair fees. You would then be responsible to pay for the repairs.

MEALS & GRATUITIES

  • Meal plans for either the Purdy Center Dining Room or Hill Dining Hall are included in reservation costs unless renting an Efficiency Unit.

  • Meal plans may not be split between the two dining areas.

  • Meals in either Dining Room may not be transferred to other individuals.

  • Rates do not include gratuities for Wait Staff or Housekeepers.

MEMBERSHIPS IN GOSPEL VOLUNTEERS, INC.

  • Resident Memberships: Everyone staying at CAMP-of-the-WOODS must purchase a membership and agree with Gospel Volunteers, Inc. ESSENTIAL DOCTRINES OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, MISSION STATEMENT and adhere to all POLICIES and RULES. Memberships are non-transferable.

  • Memberships are non-transferable.

ESSENTIAL DOCTRINES OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH

  • The Essential Doctrines of the Christian faith of CAMP-of-the-WOODS

  • We believe in the divine authority of the 66 books of the Bible alone.

  • We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity & humanity of Jesus Christ in one person with two distinct natures.

  • We believe that all mankind is lost eternally without Jesus Christ.

  • We believe in the substitutionary atonement as well as the physical bodily resurrection and ascension into Heaven of Jesus Christ.

  • We believe that the only way to heaven is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from any good works on our part.

  • We believe in the physical return of Jesus Christ, and that everyone will spend eternity consciously and bodily in either heaven or hell.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of Gospel Volunteers Inc. is to present the Biblical truths of Jesus Christ, develop Christian Leaders, strengthen the faith of individuals and families, and promote global evangelism.

OTHER POLICIES

Promotional Material: Registration implies permission to use likeness in any CAMP-of-the-WOODS promotional material.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in buildings. We ask you not to smoke in public areas or around children.

Beach Attire: Appropriate, modest beach attire must be worn by all members. One-piece bathing suits for girls and women are required.

Alcohol: Alcohol and pets of any kind are not permitted on the grounds or in member rooms.
