About Pioneers
Pioneers is dedicated to reaching the unreached with the hope of the gospel. Pioneers partners with local churches to make disciples and start church-planting movements among people groups without a self-sustaining gospel witness. Whether in cities or villages, the Pioneers teams live among the unreached, learn new languages, and build relationships to share the gospel in culturally meaningful ways.
Ministry Goals
Pioneers mobilizes teams to glorify God among unreached peoples by initiating church-planting movements in partnership with local churches. CAMP-of-the-WOODS aids in the Pioneers’ Egypt work with Muslim refugees from the civil war in Sudan.
Phil’s Responsibilities:
Planning and preparing for board or board subcommittee meetings.
Organizing meetings with international base directors from around the world.
Participating in senior and mid-level management meetings of Pioneers USA.
Preparing to host executives from sister mission organizations on campus.
Ann’s Responsibilities:
Collecting, collating, proofing, and assembling articles for PI-USA communication instruments to the U.S. office and global missionaries.
Hosting meals for the board and visitors to the campus.
Mentoring other women.
Consulting on various executive-level activities at headquarters.
Shared Responsibilities:
Assisting with travel planning and arrangements for executive and board members, both domestically and internationally.
