Nick and Kara Laskaras
Serving with Reaching & Teaching International Ministries
Current Role
Global Workers serving alongside Iglesia Bíblica Bautista Crecer, focusing on university ministry.
Location
Córdoba, Argentina
Responsibilities
The Laskaras’ primary goal is to reach university students in Córdoba, a major academic hub with more than 200,000 students, with the gospel and to connect them to meaningful membership and discipleship in the local church. During their first season in Argentina, much of their time will go toward learning Spanish and the local culture while they intentionally build relationships with university students.
The Laskaras will spend time on university campuses learning the culture of student life, sharing the gospel, studying Scripture with students, and pursuing one-on-one discipleship. They will also become active members of Iglesia Crecer and take part in the regular life and ministry of the church, especially among young adults.
Projects
Crecer On-Campus: The Laskaras will build a university ministry centered on the local church that reaches students across Córdoba through evangelism, expositional Bible studies, discipleship, and outreach. They hope to see students come to know Christ, become deeply rooted in the local church, and be equipped to disciple others. Over time, they hope to see students raised up as faithful church members and leaders, with some eventually going on to serve in ministry, church planting, and missions.
