Experience Life on Mission First Hand
Experience what it truly means to live on mission in Kenya. On this two-week journey, you’ll learn from and encourage missionaries serving with Africa Inland Mission, worship alongside believers in both cities and remote villages, and witness firsthand how God is at work across diverse communities. Travel by land and "AIM Air" to meet ministry leaders, engage in meaningful service opportunities, and even experience the vibrant culture and unique wildlife of Kenya. This trip is an invitation into a life-changing encounter with God’s work across the nations.
The Missions Experience
Each mission trip includes a blend of ministry, cultural experiences, and learning from local missionaries. Below is a sample schedule to help you picture what the experience will look like.

Travel & Arrival
Day 1-2
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is yours to rest and recover from travel. Enjoy dinner together and your first night in Kenya.

Kenya Kids Cane & Lake Naivasha
Day 3
You’ll visit Rift Valley Academy and Kenya Kids Can, learning about the work God is doing through these ministries. In the evening, we settle in for dinner and overnight at Moffat Guesthouse.

Ministry & Worship in Naivasha
Day 4-6
Arrive at Lake Naivasha and check into the beautiful Naivasha Sopa Resort where wildlife freely roam the grounds. Worship with a local church and visit the Dorobo people. After returning to the resort for lunch, enjoy a restful afternoon taking in the scenery before dinner together. The next day, gather with a local church for worship and participate in a feeding ministry following the service.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Day 7-8
Travel north to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where you will stay at Sweetwaters Serena Camp. After arriving in time for lunch, enjoy your first afternoon game drive in one of Kenya’s premier conservation areas, with opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife. The following day is a full safari day, including early morning and afternoon game drives with time to rest and enjoy camp in between.

Fly to Korr & Nairobi
Day 9
After breakfast, travel to the airstrip for a flight to Korr to participate in ministry activities. Later, fly to Nairobi and settle in at the Corat Guesthouse, where you will stay for the rest of your trip, for dinner and rest.

Nairobi Rest & Tourism
Day 10
Enjoy a slower-paced day in Nairobi. Visit the Giraffe Center to learn about conservation efforts, then head to CJ’s Waterfront for lunch and shopping. Return to the guesthouse for dinner.

Corat Ministry & AIM Visit
Day 11-12
Continue connecting with local ministry and community life through activities at Corat Africa. During this time, the team will also fly to AIM Camp for a day to learn more about the work of Africa Inland Mission and engage with their ministry.

Local Worship & Departure
Day 14-15
Attend a local church service at AIC Plainsview Church and experience vibrant African worship. After lunch at La Cantina, enjoy a relaxed afternoon at leisure. The following day, visit AIM AIR at Wilson Airport to tour the hangar and meet the pilots and staff serving through the aviation ministry, before transferring to the airport for your return flight home.

The trip costs $5,300 per person.
Please note: This price does not include personal expenses such as airfare, transportation to and from your U.S. departure airport, some meals, or personal spending money. (Total estimated cost with airfare and personal expenses: $6,200-$6,700.)Participants are responsible for booking their own round-trip travel to and from Kenya.
After being accepted to the team, you’ll be required to submit a nonrefundable deposit of $500 to secure your spot within one week of acceptance.

Participants must be able to walk short distances and lift 30 lbs. Age restrictions may also apply to ensure safety and readiness for the trip.

Join us for 6 pre-trip Zoom meetings designed to help you prepare spiritually, relationally, and practically. These sessions will include opportunities to get to know your team, engage in Bible study and book discussions for spiritual preparation, and cover important logistics such as travel planning, visas, and medical prep.

No, you do not need to know the language to participate. Many of our ministry partners speak English, and translation will be available when needed. That said, learning basic Swahili phrases is encouraged—it’s a wonderful way to connect with people, show care for the local people, and it’s an added bonus if you do!

We partner with Africa Inland Mission (AIM).
Africa Inland Mission partners with churches to see unreached people groups come to know and receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will visit multiple ministry sites and churches that partner with AIM throughout the trip.

Your team will be staying at various hotels, resorts, and guesthouses throughout your travel. You’ll specifically stay at Sweetwater’s Serena Camp and Sopa Resort when you visit Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Meals will be provided at our lodging sites or at local restaurants throughout the trip. Safe drinking water will be available throughout your trip.
