Membership in the COTW Fellowship

Why Membership?

Camp is more than a place to visit. It is a Christian community committed to the teaching of God's Word, the strengthening of faith, and the building of relationships centered on our Lord.

Membership helps us protect and preserve that community. By establishing shared expectations for those who spend time at Camp, we can maintain an environment that supports our mission, reflects our Christian convictions, and provides a place where individuals and families can grow in their faith and enjoy fellowship with others who share a commitment to our purpose.

We are glad you are here and appreciate your willingness to partner with us in upholding the principles and practices that make Camp a special place.

What is required for Membership?

A membership fee of $5/person/day is required throughout the Summer Season for Resident Members. Membership fee is built into the cost of an Associate Membership.

Membership Fee

Agreement to our Essential Doctrines of the Christian Faith.

Essential Doctrines

Members must adhere to Guest Policies, Mission Statement, and Code of Conduct.

Policies, Mission, & Conduct

Members found abusing the use of CAMP-of-the-WOODS facilities, in conduct inconsistent with the Essential Doctrines of the Christian Faith or Code of Conduct, or in conduct injurious to the well being, best interests, or the character of Gospel Volunteers, Inc. or in violation of any of its rules will be subject to examination by the GVI Board of Directors and may be subject to expulsion from Membership.

Who needs Membership?

Exceptions are limited to approved vendors and select individuals who receive guest passes for specific, limited visits. These exceptions are managed by Camp and do not constitute ongoing membership.

How and When do I become a Member?

Membership is obtained by creating a Resident Member reservation for a week in the summer or by purchasing an Associate Membership. By doing either of these things, you agree to our Guest Policies, Mission Statement, and Essential Doctrines of the Christian Faith.
