What are Specialized Positions?

Specialized Positions are for those of you who have a specialized or niche experience in any of the areas below. Because these are specific resume-building opportunities, the application process is a little more involved. Depending on the role, you may be asked to submit a portfolio showcasing your skills!

What are Leadership Positions?

Leadership Positions are for those who of you have worked either a specialized or standard job (at COTW or elsewhere) and are looking to challenge yourself. You’ll work with seasoned leaders who will guide you in becoming more confident in your managerial abilities. They’ll show you how to create an amazing team culture, find efficient ways to get the job done, and how to lead as one who is greatly respected by their peers.

What are Standard Positions?

Skilled Positions are for those of you who have a combination of personality, gifts, strengths, and weaknesses that enable you to use your gifts in a meaningful way while also learning more about yourself and growing professionally. These roles take a unique commitment to excellence in order to insure that our members are experiencing, “the best week ever.”

The point of our seminars is to give you the immediate opportunity to apply what you’re learning. These seminars are applicable to any position you choose and range from resume workshops to customer service training, First Aid certificates to beef up your resume even further, and more!

COTW Summer Staff Positions are designed to help you grow in your hard and soft skills while earning hands-on experience in your major/field of study. When you know how to combine your school knowledge with the skills that employers are looking for, you’ll become a competitive professional on the market.

To keep improving and gain promotions in your future jobs, you’ll need to know how to combine the passion for your work with core leadership abilities that impress your boss, unite a team around the mission, and work efficiently to produce results for your company or business.
